Well Flame Off of is now over for another year and what a fantastic one it was too. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that bought my work, stopped by to say hello and generally helped to make my first experience of selling at this event a successful one.

The demonstrators sharing their skills were brilliant and as for their beads and other glass work....just WOW!

The downside was returning to my studio, AKA nuclear war zone! Having been working long hours making and then rushing out of the door with all my stock prior to Flame Off, unfortunately the mess hadn't managed to clear itself up when I returned.

Well there's no rest for the wicked and after a good few hours it is now back in shape and ready for me to start producing stock for my next event which is an open studio event run by The Blackdown Hills Business Association of which I am a member. They run The Artisans Open Weekend every year for local producers and artisans and this is the first year that I will be taking part on 12th and 13th May 10am - 4pm. If you are in the area pop in and see me in my studio and then explore the beautiful Blackdown Hills and call in on any of the other artisans taking part.

Just a few days after the open weekend it's Devon County Show on 17th, 18th & 19th May and this year I will be exhibiting and selling along side Sarah Brown of The Tartan Trout. This will be our second event together and we will be found in the West Country Crafts Marquee.

I am hoping to add some of my Carousel beads to my etsy shop in the next few days and turn some of them into pendants that will be available on my website.

Thanks for reading

Helen x
